We are five individuals that are committed to building a healthier future.
Every team member wrote down their personal values on paper. Here's what each of us believes in!
"I believe no one should be judged for their body. Empathy means understanding the struggles behind obesity — stress, mental health, access to food — and taking responsibility to help, not shame."
"I value truth over comfort. Obesity is surrounded by misinformation — fad diets, quick fixes, blame. I believe in honest, evidence-based knowledge to empower real change."
"Health messaging should inspire, not intimidate. I believe creativity can make nutrition and fitness feel exciting and accessible for everyone — regardless of where they start."
"Obesity doesn't exist in isolation — it lives in communities, families, and cultures. I value compassion and believe lasting change starts when we support each other, not compete."
"Fighting obesity requires long-term commitment, not short-term motivation. I value discipline — showing up consistently — and perseverance when progress feels slow."
Each team member identified an action that exemplifies our shared values and carried it out. Here's what we did.

Ramil built a mobile app designed to help people lose weight through smart gamification. The app turns healthy habits into daily challenges, rewarding users with points for logging meals, staying within calorie goals, and completing short workouts. He included progress badges, friendly competitions, and streak tracking to keep motivation high without feeling restrictive.
Nursultan organised a free workshop for students where he demonstrated how to plan and prepare affordable, nutritious meals for the week. He created simple recipe cards with costs to show that eating healthy doesn't have to be expensive.

Nariman invited us to exercise by putting together a relaxed, community-focused movement day aimed at addressing a very real social issue of obesity and sedentary lifestyles. He encouraged everyone to participate in whatever way felt comfortable: pull ups, dips and running. The idea was to show that physical activity does not have to be extreme to make a difference.
"Move more,
carry less."
Five people. One shared mission: to fight obesity through compassion, education, action, inclusivity, and consistency.
